ARGYLECULTURE by Russell Simmons X JCPenney
Welcome to Argyleculture Fall 2016, this journey started about eight years ago when I decided to launch a menswear line for the Urban Graduate. The gentlemen that used to wear my Phat Farm brand and other brands like Sean John, E-Ncye, Rocawear etc. A lot has changed since then. That guy is now a lawyer, postman, doctor and perhaps a father. His style has changed and he can't wear baggy jeans and big logo tee’s anymore. Argyleculture was created for him.
When I launched Argyleculture eight years ago. I thought we would be in womens, kids, big and tall, and even furniture and home goods by now.
I have invested so much into this brand, but just like Phat Farm, which took me longer to be profitable, I am patient and resilient and will not give up until I achieve my goals. See, you can't fail unless you quit. Even after a recession and three different partners, I am proud to launch Argyleculture at JCPenney. I have finally found the right retail partner for my brand. JCPenney is perfect for Argyleculture. I can now make quality clothes at a great price, just for you.
I also have the best partner for Argyleculture, Burnette Textiles. The team at Burnette is the best I have had, from sales, to design. I am so excited about the future of Argyleculture. So please take time today and check out www.argyleculture.com or www.jcpenney.com and check out the Argyleculture Fall 16 mens collection. I’m sure there is something for that father, son, brother, husband, or special person in your life.
